צִימֵּחַ, צִמֵּ׳m. (צָמַח) 1) v. צוּמָּה. 2) a goat with long hair lumps and long, dependent ears. Bekh.44a תנא אף הצ׳ (Ar. הצימע) it has been taught (in addition to the blemishes mentioned) also a person looking like a tsimmeaḥ; לא הוו ידעי רבנן מאי צ׳וכ׳ the Rabbis did not know what ts. was, when they heard an Arab (trader) call out, ‘who wants a ts.?, and it was found to be a shaggy goat (v. חֲוִיזָא II). -
